Jewellery and Running by Experts

Well, it has been a while but I am back typing away with gusto. Talking of gusto, Gary has just had his birthday, he has one every year, just loves the attention. His adoring family gave him a Ninja Air Fryer, only the best for their hero. It is password protected, so no one can get their grubby paws on it except him. Comes with 1TB file storage and a processor 65% faster than a processor should be and has 2Gb of RAM to cook in.

Just a quick question, has anyone heard from Russell lately, he seems to have gone offline since the Dublin trip. Tamackgor S Bold is a little worried about him, never knows if the IRA are at it again and he is languishing in a disused council house under their protection. Tanzania is a long way away and maybe the only ship that goes there is in for repairs so they are effectively cut off from the outside world. If anyone hears of a sighting please let me know and I will pass it on to the relevant authorities.

Much has happened since my last blog. Michael has just smashed his best time for an ultra marathon, 56 km in 6 hr and 11 minutes. No mean feat as it was run along the Jurassic coastline, with many hills and valleys to conquer. Matilda, put in a brave performance, ably assisted by B, running 21 km in 2 hrs and 27 minutes. (Names and places have been changed to protect the innocent) We did see Michael running through the small village of Tyneham.

Interestingly Tyneham Village was evacuated in December 1943 during WWII and has been deserted ever since. It is a ghost village near Lulworth on the Isle of Purbeck. A little history never goes amiss.

Getting back to Michael, he ran at a good pace for most of the marathon but did get a little cramp which he ignored as much as he could until he saw his mummy, then it was serious until she told him to get a move on. Such good, medical advice that lady has.

More good news is that Lauren has sold all her fine jewellery at the International Jewellery Exhibition in Manchester. True artist never wants to part with their masterpieces but she does have to consider wee Robert and his needs as much as she would love to keep them. I do believe her order book is now full until January 2024, sorry fans but if you get your orders in now, you could get it by the end of January. Most of us know her from her internationally acclaimed jeweller but she is also a Cross Fit Instructor, Personal Trainer and ballroom dancer. In her spare time, she loves to go on long walks, swim in cold water and tidy up after Robert. A girl of many talents our Lauren.
