Go boldly in the direction of your dreams and live the life you imagined.
The reason why I write about things that tend to be funny, is because the world is fundamentally ridiculous and most things in it are pointless - but there is one thing that is not pointless, it is love and the connection between people or animals. If I think about it that’s probably the thing that connects everything I’ve written.
I found this and knew it had to be shared. We have all said goodbye to loved ones, both human and animal. This does have so much hope in it.

You have to be brave and go by yourself. Follow this road until you come to a bridge.
On the other side of the bridge, you will see a magnificent rainbow. Wait for me there. Some day soon I will come and find you.

Despite the rumour, Death isn't cruel – merely terribly, terribly good at his job. (Terry Pratchett)
We have had some very hot weather and walking back from the beach my mind took in a photograph of what I saw.
To step onto the beach on a typical sun-drenched day with all its variety in colour. Small ripple waves advance on the sand and collapse, just to roll back into the sea.
I have always wondered why we say a wave breaks, it doesn’t, it collapses and rolls back to begin the cycle again, never to stop. Out on the water, the ferry moves slowly past, as it does every day and we all want to be on it.
The seaside has enormous air, more than your garden, more than a mountain, it goes on forever, it seems.
The ferry has moved on, the beach has filled with holidaymakers who seem to have a dislike for everyday life and come to the sea to forget it all. We all find a measure of peace on the beach, maybe it is the endless rhythm of the water rolling the small waves only to claim them back, creating music of its own.
Later in the day, the clouds roll in from over the sea. Everything covered under the low horizon, blue water, sand, towels and red bathing caps disappear off the beach, home and we are left under the vastness of the sky.
Once we got back to the car park we found Blackberries. Late August or early September is Blackberry time! Because of the very hot summer, these sweet berries will be ripening faster than normal. Blackberries go all the way through to October, a great time to enjoy your walk and stock up on some tasty fruit from mother nature. They have a number of health benefits, you out there walking, that’s a good start but they are also good for your skin and they are brain food, helping you think clearer and also helps your memory. Just leave a few for the wildlife, for them, it is a feast.
Susan sent me this collection of images from our trip to Cornwall. The images are great but what caught my eye, was the layout that Apple Messages use. Rounded corners and slightly stacked.

Excellent blog, essentially the meaning/point of life is love and connections, the rest (work etc) should just facilitate that!
I differ slightly... I feel life is not pointless. I understand why this is said but my life to me is not pointless and the family around me don't find me pointless.... There is a game show on BBC that's called Pointless. The purpose of the show is to be pointless, then you the winner :) Maybe that is my answer to a Pointless life you are actually the winner😀
That’s where I get it from! I agree, everything is ultimately pointless and there is something quite liberating about that - you can create your own meaning whether it’s connections or the pursuit of a goal.
Great blog pops! Felt like I was on the beach all over again
